Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Production Model Debuts Next Year

The excitement in the adventure-bike community is at an all-time high. Royal Enfield is gearing up to reveal the Himalayan 750 in its production-ready form next year, marking a huge step for the brand. After the strong response to the Himalayan 450, Royal Enfield is now entering the mid-weight adventure segment with even more confidence.

The Himalayan 750 will come with a new 750 cc twin-cylinder engine, stronger hardware, and better long-distance comfort. It is built to attract riders who enjoy highway touring and those who love exploring light off-road trails.

Himalayan 750 Production Model

1) Engine & Performance :

The Himalayan 750 is powered by a newly developed 750 cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine. This motor is an advanced version of RE’s 650 cc twin, but tuned for more power and touring ability.

Although Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed exact figures yet, early testing leaks and expert reports suggest the bike may produce around 50–55 bhp and 60–65 Nm of torque. This is a huge step up from the older single-cylinder Himalayans and will offer smoother highway cruising and better performance on open roads. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, making the bike easier to ride in the city and more relaxed during long-distance journeys.

2) Chassis, Suspension & Wheels :

Since this bike is more powerful, Royal Enfield has designed a new and stronger frame. The Himalayan 750 will come with a reworked headstock, a new subframe, and a tougher trellis-style main frame. This will help improve stability at high speeds and confidence on rough roads.

To handle different terrains, the bike gets adjustable USD front forks and a rear mono-shock, both tuned for comfort and control. Wheel setup stays true to adventure DNA :

  • 19-inch front wheel
  • 17-inch rear wheel
  • Tubeless wire-spoke wheels in at least one variant

Braking has been upgraded too. Expect dual front disc brakes with dual-channel ABS for safer stopping, especially while carrying luggage or riding on uneven surfaces.

Himalayan 750 Touring and Off-Road Capability

With its strong twin-cylinder engine, new chassis, upgraded suspension, and adventure-friendly wheels, the Himalayan 750 aims to be a true middle-weight tourer. Here’s what the bike is expected to handle well :

  • Long highway rides thanks to its smooth twin engine
  • Mixed road conditions — from good highways to broken patches
  • Light off-road trails like gravel, dirt tracks, and forest paths
  • Two-up touring with luggage, thanks to the stronger frame and better suspension

Compared to the older Himalayan models, this bike is built to offer more power, more stability, and more comfort — making it perfect for riders who want a “do-it-all” machine without spending premium ADV money.

Himalayan 750 Debut Timeline

Royal Enfield showcased the Himalayan 750 prototype at EICMA 2025, with a “Testing in Progress” tag. Since then, the bike has been spotted multiple times during road testing. Reports suggest that the final production model will debut at EICMA 2026, followed by an India launch in early 2027.

This extended testing period shows that Royal Enfield wants to refine the motorcycle thoroughly before launch, ensuring it competes strongly in the global mid-weight ADV segment.

RE 750 Twin-Cylinder Bike

For Royal Enfield fans, the Himalayan 750 represents a big jump. It’s not just a bigger engine — it shows that RE is ready to compete with international mid-weight adventure-tourers.

This bike will appeal to :

  • Riders wanting more power than the 450
  • Tourers who love long journeys and highway comfort
  • Adventure lovers who want a capable machine without premium pricing
  • Riders looking for a twin-cylinder ADV that is powerful yet accessible

Compared to expensive European and Japanese ADV bikes, the Himalayan 750 could deliver similar touring performance at a much lower price.

Himalayan 750 Price Expectations

Although Royal Enfield hasn’t confirmed the price, industry experts predict a starting tag of around ₹4.0 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). If this pricing turns out to be accurate, the Himalayan 750 will be one of the most affordable middle-weight adventure bikes in India — offering great value with its twin-cylinder engine, strong touring focus, and modern hardware.
