Royal Enfield is stepping into the electric motorcycle world in a big way with its new Flying Flea EV sub-brand. The company has showcased two all-new models — Flying Flea C6 and Flying Flea S6 — and both bikes mix Royal Enfield’s classic charm with fresh electric technology. This first-look review breaks down what these two EVs offer, how they perform, and why they could become big players in India’s growing electric two-wheeler market.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea EV Review
For the Indian market, the Flying Flea twins feel like the right move at the right time. Royal Enfield isn’t just entering the EV space with a scooter—it’s entering with proper motorcycles that still carry the brand’s identity.
The C6 comes with a simple, retro-roadster design that riders can use daily in the city. It’s light, stylish, and made for hassle-free commuting. The S6, on the other hand, has a tougher scrambler look for people who want a bit more fun and freedom in their ride.
The launch timeline also supports India’s growing shift towards electric mobility. The C6 is expected between January–March 2026, while the S6 will arrive a little later the same year. Royal Enfield is positioning Flying Flea as a separate EV-focused sub-brand, allowing it to appeal more to young, tech-loving rider.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea Battery Capacity & Charging Time
While the exact battery specs are yet to be officially confirmed, most reports point to :
- C6 battery: around 4.8–5 kWh LFP
- S6 battery: around 5.4 kWh
The charging time for the C6 is estimated at 4–6 hours using a normal home socket (3-pin). This should be suitable for daily home charging.
Reports also suggest the bike could support a Level-2 3.3 kW charger, and even CCS2 fast charging, which might charge the battery from 10–80% in about 1 hour — a big plus for city riders who don’t want to wait long.

Flying Flea C6
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 and S6 Features
Flying Flea C6 :
The C6 is built as a lightweight city bike with old-school RE styling. The girder-style front fork, the simple round LED headlamp, and the clean bodywork give it a vintage touch. But underneath, it packs modern EV power.
The bike uses a smart VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) that is said to support over 2 lakh ride-mode combinations, allowing you to adjust the ride the way you want. Add to that lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, OTA updates, and strong smartphone connectivity — all of which make it a modern daily rider.
Flying Flea S6 :
The S6 is the scrambler twin with a taller stance, bigger spoked wheels, USD forks, and a tougher design meant for both road and light off-road tracks. The finned magnesium battery case helps with cooling and reduces overall weight.
Like the C6, the S6 also gets a Snapdragon-powered smart OS, ride-mode changes, voice commands, safety features, and full app support for navigation and bike monitoring.
